Different countries follow
different television systems. North America follows NTSC (National
Television System Committee), while most of Europe and Asia follows PAL
(Phase Alternating Line). These television systems basically define the
manner in which your television set displays the signal it receives.
What this essentially
means is that a video recorded by a NTSC camcorder will not play on a
PAL television set and vice versa. The same principle applies to DVD as
well; a PAL DVD will not work on most DVD players in North America. So
if you want to share your videos with someone oversees, you face a
frustrating situation.
If you want to share video content with
friends or colleagues on the other side of the ocean, you can either
invest in expensive multi system hardware or convert your videos between
NTSC and PAL using LG DIGITAL MEDIA
Digitally we convert any signal using high
quality hardware. We offer free shipping back of all your media
(original and final output copies); we include in the price: free DVD
and/or VHS as final copy, free case, free sleeve, shrink and wrapping. 5
to 7 business days turnaround. Our DVD are recorded in DVD-R format your
DVD player must be compatible for playing back finalized recordable
DVDs. Our VHS are recorded in EP mode we use Broadcast quality tape.
Additional time required we can extend to another media or upon customer
request we can use different (slow) recording speed. We back up your
original media for a period of 30 days. A back-up original and final
copy insurance period of 12 months is available. |

| Why it's Safe |
|
We have taken every precaution to
ensure
the safety of your precious and irreplaceable home movies. We
transfer/convert
all of your films and videos in our work location and ship the movies
back directly to you, (for free if you’re a Canadian customer; you’ll
just pay the shipping to us). Also we provide media (DVD, Videotapes)
with it. We keep a digital back up of your movies for 1 month after
shipment because of our 30 day warranty. We feel the safety of your
movies is the most important aspect of our job. We
offer more than just a video to DVD transfer. We start by reviewing your
original movie, any correction will be made during this process; the
movie will be analyzed with a waveform and a vector-scope controlled by
a TBC (Time Base Corrector). Then the transfer to a DVD will be done
through our digital Video Processor. We will automatically insert chapter
marks into your video; when you're viewing the DVD you can quickly skip
scenes without having to watch the whole movie. Finally, you can submit
a title for the DVD that we will print directly onto the disk. This is
what we call Mastering an analog source. For those who want a basic
transfer, our procedure will be the following: play back your media
while being controlled by a basic color corrector. The final output will
be recorded with a DVD-R disk. |

alter or reproduce an original copyrighted material will be refused
and returned with a full shipping back payment charged. The quality of
our final products is a major priority for our customers and we will
do our best to provide satisfactory results for your money. Any damage
upon arrival of any particular media will be put on standby, notifying
the customer and action will be made by the customer's decision. We
will verify the condition of the material in order to eliminate the
chance of damage during the procedure of a task. Any damage that may
occur during a job procedure may be due to the poor quality of the
material. Vinyl records(33 and 45rpm) they will be cleaned and
neutralize the static as much as possible to avoid any static noise an
LP can produce. |
